Another Inshore Video
New and Improved
Hannibal Bank/Isla Montuosa report
We did two day trips last week diving out on the Hannibal Bank and around Isla Montuosa. The first trip was slow, but on the second trip we found the yellowfins with the spinner dolphins between Hannibal and Montuosa. unfortunately we where not able to put one in the boat. They where moving fast and where not in large numbers. There was no shortage of a variety of pelagic species spotted though. We had five encounters with various bill fish, as well as a sighting of a pair of Mahi, the bull being one of the biggest i have ever seen in person. We spent a small part of the day diving around Isla Montuosa where we spotted a couple wahoo and where able to put some blue fin trevally and a couple pargo on the boat. It looks like things are started to heat up out there!
Kev’s first Snook!
Kev and Dario came down from Jersey last week and put a hurting on the Snook, Pargo and trevally. Kev only just started diving and by the end of the trip we had him diving past 70 feet and he had a bunch of nice fish under his belt including this fat snook. It was a pleasure diving with dario and Kev!

Beautiful Conditions and River Mouth Hunting
The weather down here at Morro Negrito has been beautiful, and there has been a lot of life and some of the clearest inshore viz I have ever seen here. We have been hitting the river mouth and putting steel through Pargo and Snook. Yesterday was one of the best days i have seen at that spot, and of course as murphy’s law would have it, it was the one day I didn’t bring the camera. Needless to say we have been eating like kings and enjoying the nice conditions. I have a little bit of footage from the last couple days that I am going to put together and post up here, so stay tuned.
